We are in the process of being certified organic.
We do not use any chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or insecticides. Instead, we build our soil's fertility naturally and also accept that going chemical-free means a higher % of fruits goes to the wildlife that roam our farm!

Its literally 1 day from harvest - as fresh as it gets!
Compared to the average farm, we pay our farm workers better and require more workers because its simply more labour intensive to manage a biodiverse chemical-free farm.
It is also hard to achieve economies of scale with a farm that cannot be mechanized (again due to choosing to go diverse and chemical free! our health always comes first!)
It is important to note that our prices are relatively stable unlike supermarkets and wet markets - this is because we are not reliant on external inputs (e.g. huge increase in cost of chemical fertilizers)

Nope! Generally, both supermarkets and wet market stalls purchase fruits from wholesalers, who likely buy from other wholesalers. The papayas at 1 stall could realistically be from many different farms, as they are sorted based on appearance/size.
This means a few things:
1) There are several middle men between you and the farmer - if you think you are buying cheap fruit, imagine how much (little?) the farmer must have been paid!
2) No one at the store will know how the produce was grown, and will look at you funny if you ask
3) We're much fresher! And likely much closer to Singapore compared to other farms

There are many reasons for this, just let us know and we'll see if it needs to be replaced, or if you just need to cut that little bit off :)
A few ways:
- Drive in yourself - we'll give you detailed directions!
- Hire a driver + car for the day, pick up and drop off in Singapore - you can reach out to us for recommended drivers
- Take a bus/train into Johor Bahru, then hire a driver + car locally, and take the bus/train back to Singapore (cheaper)
Its tarred roads all the way (highway, even our kampung road is tarred!) Sometimes the kampung road can have quite a few potholes depending on the weather (it gets repaired often) but generally, its easy travelling and will not damage your car. For-hire companies drive cars like Toyota Hiace, Vellfire to us and are fine!
